Easy Breath
Easy breath is the simplest of all breathing techniques. In a relaxed way, give your full attention to observing your breath quietly coming in & going out. ....the breath comes in gently & goes out gently. Do it now for 4 breaths. Close you eyes, ........ .......doesn’t this create tranquillity of the mind? As you do this more and more the breath itself becomes so tranquil. It becomes a deliciously peaceful experience ....who ever thought you could have so much fun just breathing! It is also a wonderful way to bring balance to the mind when confronted by stress. Easy Breath for Listening Skills: A great master of yoga has taught that there are 3 important tools to use when listening to another person talk. 1. Full attention 2. Respect 3. Easy Breath. All I can say is try it! |
Laughter + Easy Breath = Deep Meditation
Easy breath takes on great significance when combined with yoga-laughter. Laughter releases a huge amount of energy & prana into your system and at the end of it leaves you in deep silence. Doing easy breath prolongs the silence. You are in deep meditation at this time, & easy breath allows you to stay in that space. Positive Affirmations: The laughter/easy breath sequence creates a unique opportunity: ................... to practice positive affirmations, such “I deserve to be happy” or whatever it is that you feel is missing from your life. At this time your conscious mind is still and you can connect in a deep way with deeper levels of you being. Your unconscious mind responds to positive affirmations and will magically draw things you want into your life. |
